This multi-media exhibition will explore the works and careers of select makers who have been directly responsible for the development of western Massachusetts’ renowned craft community.  Their impact can be perceived through mentorship of makers, development of area non-profits and educational institutions that support craft, or inclusion of the region’s natural resources in their work.  And for all those selected, the rural setting and open creative community have impacted the development of their exceptional craft.   It will be held in the M. Tarlow gallery and will feature a small number of artists in order to present a selection of work by each.
