Westfield, Massachusetts Celebrated The Artistry Of Josh Simpson
June-October 2014

The Universe According to Josh Simpson is a unique city-wide celebration of the creative arts as inspired by the work of glass artist Josh Simpson. The first of what is hoped to be an annual event, it is a historic city’s celebration of the creative economy.  With a hugely unique take on community festivals and events, Westfield (or Whip City as some like to call it) re-imagines the community festival and blasts it into the creative stratosphere with some highly original programming to celebrate one of Western Massachusetts’ most inspiring artists.

Listen to Josh and Jacqui Proctor talk to Bob Plasse on Westfield's 89.5 WSKB along with guest Noah Lis, a contestant on NBC-TV's The Voice

A discussion with renowned glass artist, Josh Simpson on Westfield, Massachusetts city wide celebration and the beginning of his artistic career.

The show moves to the cold shop in Josh's studio and he discusses his art and glass blowing methods. Thank you to WGBY for additional footage from "Defying Gravity".
